My name is Amber and this space is centered around my love for all things macros related.
A little personal background on me:
Age: 34 (flirty & thriving!- hopefully this reference is not lost on everyone)
Marital status; Making my way towards 9 years married to a pretty awesome computer nerd.
Workout of choice: I can’t lie I have 100% drank the CrossFit Kool-aid. It’s my jam, my happy place, and my therapy all rolled into one. However I have dabbled in a lot of fitness options such as boxing (LOVED IT!), normal gym setting, pilates, gymnastics, dance, spinning, and bootcamps. Although CrossFit is my passion I don’t think it is the only way to get fit. Find something you love to do that gets your body to move and rock it!
Hobbies/Favorites: The gym is a huge part of my life so it has to be included in this section. I also love cooking, traveling, reading, and all things Disney.
Kiddos/Pets: I am a first time mom to a 6 year old spunky little girl and a fur mama to a crazy French Bulldog & Cane Corso.
How I became interested in nutrition:
I have had a huge interest in athletic pursuits since a young age. I started out in gymnastics and as a competitive cheerleader for 8 years. After I graduated I tried out many different fitness options and landed on CrossFit. When I started CrossFit I was under the impression that I could out-train a bad diet but unfortunately for most that’s not the case. I did CrossFit for a year and didn’t “see” my results. I was determined to see them and to feel better so I looked into nutrition coaching. I hired an amazing coach and learned a tremendous amount about food. Changing my food changed everything for me. I felt dramatically different and saw major changes in my body composition. That’s when I knew I wanted to dig in and learn everything I could about nutrition. I became ISSA certified and started taking on clients. The rest is history!
